In collaboration with 'CDV Lab' and 'INCM – Imprensa Nacional Casa da Moeda', a coin designed by
Artificial Intelligence (AI) about the digital world has been developed.
As part of this project, a unique digital artifact was created for anyone who acquired a physical coin. My role involved materializing 4.040 coins in the 3D space by crafting a system to handle all the 2D assets provided by the AI. These assets were compiled into a 40-second video, showcasing the evolutionary process behind the genesis of the coin, divided into three segments.
Each video displayed the rarity of the coin based on its material. There are five rarity levels with 2.400, 1.000, 400, 160, and 40 digital assets, respectively. In ascending order of rarity, the descendant coin, unique to each asset, is rendered in nickel, copper, rose gold, gold, and chameleon.
Additionally, besides these 4.000 digital assets (equivalent to the number of physical coins), 40 extra digital assets were created to be awarded to collectors who possess at least one of each rarity level. These extra assets were produced using the same process but allowing the use of color.
The complete process is showcased in the 'CDV Lab' website.
